Rodney's Medical Fund

Rodney Nelson began having health problems at the end of November and what was thought to be a common cold ended up being pneumonia and on top of that he had a virus that was affecting his liver, heart and spleen. While in the hospital he found out he had a mitral heart valve not closing and  was informed that he had had two heart attacks in the couple months before.  After further testing, he found out that he needed to have triple by-pass surgery along with a new mitral valve.  This is all in addition to his Parkinson's Disease that he was diagnosed with 5 years ago when he turned 50.
Rodney has been off of work since Dec. 5th 2016. His wife's job is in limbo and their health insurance has a very high deductable.  They are experiencing many out of pocket costs and their bills are quickly mounting.  He will continue to have more medical expenses and has no idea when he will be able to return to work.
Rodney is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand and we would like to help alleviate some of the financial burden that they have and will continue to incur during his recovery.
