Rodney's Cancer Recovery

Hey Friends, this one hits closest to home and your help is greatly needed!

At the beginning of 2023 my dad, Rodney Brown started having strange nose bleeds and other health concerns. After months of tests, biopsies, and many unsettling moments he was diagnosed with throat cancer.

My dad is an incredibly strong, determined man and I feel he’ll come out of this healthier than when he started but the road to recovery is long. He’s had a total of 3 surgeries - 70 lymph nodes were removed, a quarter of the base of his tongue and 30 rounds of high dose radiation. Fortunately, the prescribed treatment has a 95% survival rate but the side effects are intense and he’ll be recovering post-treatment for months.

My dad has dedicated his life and sacrificed so much in order to support his 4 children and provide us with a lot of love and fun memories and now it’s our time to help him.

Over the past 15 years Rodney’s built a successful home contracting business and it’s been inspiring to watch. Since he currently can’t work as a small, hands-on business owner he could use all the help he can get. And the dangers of this stressful financial burden can be alleviated with your help!
