Rodolfo Macias Funeral Fundraiser
Donation protected
Rodolfo Macias Sr, lost his strenuous battle with cancer & just recently passed away at the age of 54 on Sunday December 3rd, 2017 at MacNeal Hospital.
For the last three years, Rodolfo has been fighting for his life, constantly worrying about leaving his wife, 3 daughters & a young boy behind & alone —especially, his son Rudy Jr, at only 11 years old.
Throughout his life, Rodolfo always put others first, making sure his family was taken care of. At a very young age, Rodolfo dropped out of school to support his family in Mexico. At 24 years old, he ventured out of Mexico to begin a new life in the U.S. and immediately began working. Rodolfo took pride in his hard work ethic and family, always giving it his best.
He was devastated when he could no longer work as of 2015 due to his diagnosis and the intensive radiation and chemotherapy that came along with it.
As a result, his wife, Annie Macias Barragan, has been working very hard & working extra long hours in attempts to keep the family home and maintain normalcy for Rodolfo and their kids.
We want to remember Rodolfo for never giving up, his constant love and support, as well as inspiring all of us to never lose hope. Like Rodolfo always said to “echarle ganas”, and always “tener animo”—something we can all take into account at this time.
As many of you know, funeral services can be costly. We want to acknowledge Rodolfo with the proper services he deserves. If you are able to contribute in any way that you can to the cost of his funeral services and/or to support his kids and wife, Annie, it would be most helpful.
His family will need any help they can get; please think of supporting them during this heart-breaking time. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
We totally understand for those that cant make any donations, its ok. We just ask to keep the Macias family in your prayers or simply share this Fundraiser.
Thank You So Much &
God Bless You All.
