Dear Rudolph,

 

It hurts that you are no longer with us. You were killed on July 2, 2022 at the hands of the LAPD.

 

 

My mom cannot stop crying for you, her tears run heavy for you. She wanted to see you and hold you in her arms like her baby one more time, you will always be her little baby boy even at the age of 30. Mom loves you so much. We all do.

 

We cannot stop replaying the way you were taken from us. Too soon, too young, too early.

I'm sure that you are looking down on us. I'm sure that you see the memorial that we and the community have put up in your honor. You were a pillar to our community and our hearts.

 

 

I love you. Mom loves you. All your friends that you have known since Trinity Street Elementary and Santee High School are grieving. All the families in the neighborhood speak so highly of you and they feel so much pain and anger.

 

You leave a beautiful little girl, Genesis. Please know that we will take good care of your daughter. We will always remind her of how much you loved her and cared about her. You leave a legacy of love and care for all and that will never be forgotten. You are gone physically, but you will remain in our hearts forever. We stand with you and by you forever.

 

I love you. Mom loves you. We all do. You’re an angel now. A beautiful beautiful angel so go ahead and Rest In Peace Rudolph. We love you.
