Roger B D is a 93 year old US Air Force Veteran

Donation protected
Sincere thanks and blessings to all who have donated. Every little bit helps with food, meds, and medical and utility bills.

Roger began working at the age of twelve helping his Dad in the different businesses he owned including grocery stores, hotels, and nightclubs. Roger was born in 1930 and remembers working for $21 a week. He is a self made man.

The majority of those Roger helped throughout the years have met their demise and there is no family left other than his two children. His son is disabled with a traumatic brain injury. His daughter recently was laid off and she was the main source of income outside of his $1400 a month from SS. He has lived in the same home for 28 years. He has rented this home and the landlord is an absentee landlord. Roger has and still maintains the property mowing, weed eating, and feeding multiple outdoor animals.

Over the years Roger, who is originally from Canada, served in the US Air Force 1950-1954. He owned his own business and then changed venues and retired as the Director of Ground Operations in aviation. He gave many people who were down and out a job and a place to live in his own home until they got on their feet. Even at 93 when weather permits he still works 6-10 hours a day on the home he rents which is 180 years old and in ill repair. He is an avid reader of books and loves numbers and finance. He is the first to help someone he feels can use it and has donated to Father Flanagan's Boy's School and St. Jude for over sixty years. His wife of 60 years passed nine years ago of ESRD. Roger no longer drives. He turned in his license and sold his 18 year old vehicle a few years back.

Due to the rising inflation and mere $1400 a month income, now with his daughter's lay off, he is in need of assistance. Any and all donations are appreciated and will go toward his groceries, electric, gas, water/sewer. and other associated home expenses per month. Hopefully, with your help we can bridge the gap until his daughter is able to secure another position and take on his expenses again.

Thank you for your time, consideration and kindness. Any additional questions posed will be answered promptly and honestly.
