Roger Vue Crushes Colon Cancer Campaign Round Two

Roger's story continues....

Tswj Hwm Roger Vue was first diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in April of 2019. With everyone's support and relentless determination, Roger was able to beat colon cancer after 7 months of chemotherapy. Being cleared of cancer, Roger found a new and deeper appreciation for life, anew his commitment to living life to the fullest. Roger spent a lot of quality time with family and friends playing disc golf and exploring the outdoors. With a second chance at life, he fell in love with his now girlfriend Kelsey LaFontaine and became a father figure to her three young daughters who are athletic and "crazily" involved with softball and gymnastic. Life was going great being cancer free until December 23rd, 2021, on his 34th birthday, when the cancer came back. He was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The surgeons operated the best that they could to get the cancer out, but it had spread too far. Doctors and loved ones have sought out alternative treatment options, but to no avail. Roger's only course of treatment is chemotherapy for the rest of his life, or until a miracle happens. Since receiving the devastating diagnosis, Roger hasn't been able to work. He now spends his days surrounded by loved ones, focused on his physical, mental and spiritual well-being. This is still so surreal to those who know and love him.

We want to provide an update knowing how supportive all of you have been throughout his first diagnosis. It's because of all the love and support that he received Roger was able to plow through the challenges and difficulty and was able to beat cancer the first time. This time is different. We want to resume Roger's GoFundMe page to raise money to support him financially so that he can live his life the way he wants to be remembered. Please support to the best of your ability. On behalf of Roger and his family, we thank you whole heartly for keeping him in your heart and being part of this chapter of his life.

The Beginning....

Roger Vue was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in the spring of 2019 at age 32. Yes, you read that correctly...this young man who captained Team Silencer to win the Hmong July 4th soccer championship, snowboards down 14k foot mountains, and relentlessly supports his family got cancer. Roger had a portion of his large intestine/colon removed and is entering his final 2months of chemotherapy. As tough as Roger is, the emotional, physical, and financial challenges are mounting up. He never asks for anything except for well wishes, but we need to rally our resources behind him. The medical bills and complications are piling up and the last thing Roger needs to worry about is money. Your financial support will help him with surgery, chemo, and wages lost during treatment. It will help Roger focus on healing and redefining himself. If you're unable to give $ directly, here are other options: - Hold a fundraiser/donation campaign of your own - Purchase fundraiser items for Roger at https://www.agpestores.com/jbsteeshirtfactory/groups.php (Select "Silencer") - Friend him on facebook and pour on the positive energy, he reads everything - For after his full treatment, he loves hoppy IPAs, disc golf, pho, eggrolls, anime, fishing, and follows politics astutely...so find a connection somehow. The timing of this ask is more urgent than ever, last night, Roger was re-admitted into the hospital for pain and vomiting. There appears to be leakage in his intestines. His spirit is strong but needs our support more than ever. Please help in any way you can. To Roger's health! Team Roger Vue Will Crush Colon Cancer
