Rogue's Run

Hi,

My name is Lori and I'm raising money for my boy Rogue and his run.

I met Rogue not long after he came in to the shelter at CARE STL.  I would walk him regularly.  I took him to an adoption event where he met all kinds of people.  Fast forward a few years later, his life became in jeopardy.  He was due to be put down.  I have always wanted him since I was asked if I would want to adopt him.  Circumstances changed to where he would likely be put down.  I reached out to the CARE and was able to adopt him.  One of the things talked about if I were to adopt him last year, was to have a run built in my yard.  The shelter is no longer in a position to build a run for him in my backyard.  Having him home, I want to build a run for him.  I have another dog at home that makes the separating quite a challenge and this would be best for all involved.  In time I will have them meet, he needs his decompression time for now.  Once built I will divide my nights between spending it with him and my other dog, Robyn.  He is such a sweet boy with lots of love to give.  He just needed that one person who would listen to him and always be his voice.  My sweet Rogue.
