Roland Pugay Miguel was the beacon of light in our lives and a stronghold of our community. His sudden departure on the morning of May 27th has left us heartbroken and in deep grief. We have opened this GoFundMe campaign to honor his memory and provide for his two loving daughters, whom he adored more than life itself.
Known for his warmth, infectious laugh, and ceaseless generosity, Roland was the embodiment of love and kindness. As a dedicated father, his children were his pride and joy. He lived not just for himself, but for the laughs, lessons, and love he could provide them. His life was a testament to the power of love, responsibility, and hard work, values he instilled in his girls.
As a partner, he was so incredibly attentive and supportive. He's the absolute best at planning date nights, family trips, and more. Always the most detailed, and he took pride in that!
As a brother, Roland was the protective shield, always there to lend a hand, a shoulder, or a word of advice. He was not just a sibling but also a friend, confidant, and guide.
As a son, Roland remained a pillar of strength and support for his parents, making them proud at every step of his journey. He often credited his success to the teachings and love he received from his parents. His actions in life mirrored the love, respect, and admiration he held for them.
In the professional realm, Roland was respected and loved by his coworkers. He was known for his dedication, hard work, and a unique ability to bring a sense of calm and positivity even in the most stressful situations. He was not just a colleague but a mentor and a friend to many in his workplace.

Beyond his familial and professional life, Roland was a friend like no other. He was always ready to help, to listen, and to be there for anyone in need. His presence could light up any room, and his hearty laugh was known to be the cure for anyone's worst day.

Roland was an avid sports fan, especially for the local Las Vegas sports. A huge supporter of the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Las Vegas Aces - even the teams at UNLV which he was a graduate of.

As a cherished brother of the Omega Delta Phi fraternity, Roland consistently infused an extraordinary energy that illuminated the spirits of his fraternity brothers.
While we mourn the loss of this incredible man, we choose to remember and celebrate his life, his achievements, and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
The funds raised through this campaign will go towards organizing a fitting memorial service to commemorate Roland’s remarkable life and towards securing a brighter future for his daughters, ensuring they continue to receive the education and opportunities their father always dreamt for them.
We thank you for your generosity, your kind words, and your support during this painful time. Please feel free to share your cherished memories of Roland as we remember his life, his love, and his indomitable spirit.
Roland Pugay Miguel, our loving father, uncle, brother, son, life partner, coworker, and friend, will forever remain in our hearts. Your memory will live on in every life you touched, and every heart you warmed with your kindness. We miss you and love you, always.
