Rollerworld Lismore Flood Relief
Donation protected
At the end of summer 2022, the northern rivers region of NSW Australia received over one and a half metres of rain in two days.
Our town of Lismore was impacted by extensive flooding, and Rollerworld went under 6 metres of water.
The back wall was destroyed, the canteen and bathrooms had to be demolished, large amounts of equipment was damaged beyond repair and… a house floated from two streets away and landed on top of the rink!!!
For over 43 years, Rollerworld has been a vital part of our youth culture, offering a safe and healthy space for young people. It’s also home to several skating clubs, including artistic, inline hockey and roller derby. As well as learn to skate for adults and children.
The rink doesn't just need to be repaired. It needs to be made as flood proof as possible. It's not a small task, but hopefully, with some help from you, we can help Rollerworld stay around for another 43 years.
The initial goal is $50000, but to replace and repair everything. We need to raise much, much more.
All funds raised will go towards repairing the damage done to the rink by the flood and replacing lost equipment. Any money remaining will go towards a fund to protect the rink from any future incidents.

There aren’t many roller rinks left in Australia and even fewer in regional areas. Losing this one would leave a giant scar in our community.
Please help save our rink.
