Dan's Ironman Race - Sc. Romaneasca
Tax deductible
On September 10th, Dan Danieluc will compete in his 6th Ironman(triathlon). On that Sunday, Dan will swim 1.2-mile (1.9 km), bicycle ride 56-mile (90 km) and run a half marathon 13.1-mile (21.1 km). All this in less than 8 hours!
In 2012, when Dan Danieluc decided to participate for the first time in the Ironman, he used a refurbished, old road bike to complete his first triathlon.
Dan is always looking for opportunities to help and inspire his friends and to make a positive difference in other people’s lives.
His will is to raise money for Scoala de Limba Romana, Cultura si Traditii Romanesti.
About Scoala de Limba Romana, Cultura și Tradiții Românești:
Școala de Limba Romana,Cultura și Tradiții Românești(Scoala Romaneasca) is a RomAmPro project born from the need of our Romanian-American community to keep its youngest members connected to their parents' and grandparents' language, traditions and history.
This project benefits from the support of Saint John of Wallachia church - a great example of community collaboration.
At Scoala Romaneasca, one of our goals is to keep our children close to Romanian culture and traditions. Your donations will help fund a new Romanian Library and a Romanian Arts/Culture program for the children. We need help in bringing a selection of nearly 500 books from Romania to our school in NJ and help in funding our arts/culture program. These initiatives will truly keep Romanian literature, history, and art alive in our communities and for generations to come.
