"Romanian Community Helping Texas"

Buna ziua,

După cum știi cu toții... Texas a fost lovit de un Uragan de categoria 4, numit "Harvey" ... Acesta este cel mai mare uragan care a lovit această zonă de foarte mult timp. Rockport, Corpus Christi, Houston și multe alte zone vor avea de-a face cu o mulțime de daune și pierderi de vieți omenești pentru foarte mult timp. Sunt atât de mulți oameni care nu vor putea să aiba grija de ei înșiși și de cei dragi.

Știm că există foarte mulți Romani de buna credinta în California, care vor fi dispuși să ajute.

"Romani In Los Angeles" in colaborare cu Sky Logistics o companies de transport din Los Angeles si cu ajutorul Bisericii Ortodoxe Romana Sfanta Treime din Los Angeles şi Compania "Napoca EuroCatering" am hotărât să dăm o mână de ajutor. Sky Logistics își donează timpul lor, un salariu la șofer și ne pune la dispozitie un camion pentru a-l umple cu provizii și apoi ei îl vor duce acolo direct celor care au nevoie de ajutor. Camionul va fi luat in primire și bunurile vor fi distribuite de către Red Cross în Houston Texas.

Avem nevoie de câtiva voluntari să ne ajute prin a-și dona timpul lor, câteva ore pe zi.

Avem nevoie de doi oameni 8 ore pe zi Intre 10am si 7pm, să stea acolo să primeasca donațiile și să le încarce în camion. Vor fi șifturi a câte 4 ore. De preferat ar fi ca fiecare voluntar să contribuie cu două șifturi a câte patru ore. O sa fim acolo probabil o saptamana deci avem nevoie de cat mai multi oameni. Camionul va fi parcat in curtea Bisericii Ortodoxe Romana Sfanta Treime la adresa: 3315 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065 Incepand de Duminica Septembrie 3 la ora 10am până îl umplem. 

Vă rugăm să veniți să aduceți ceea ce puteți: apă de baut, prosoape de hârtie, hârtie igienică, farfurii de hârtie, furculite/cutite din plastic, conserve cu mancare, articole de curățat, săpun, îmbrăcăminte, Advil, Aleve, pungi cu ziplock, prosoape, dezinfectant, Lysol, Clorox, Windex, periute si pasta de dinti, perne, pături, jucării pentru copii, scutece, șosete, saci de gunoi, mănuși de vinilin, Mancare pentru caini si pisici, etc.

Tot ce aduceți va rugam sa fie noi și nedesfacute.

Dacă nu aveți nimic acasa, si nu va puteti deplasa donați câțiva dolari aici pe Gofundme. De toti banii stransi se va cumpara ce este nevoie sa umplem Camionul.

Aceasta tara ne-a oferit atat de multe, e timpul sa ajutam si noi cum putem.

Romanian Community Helping Texas

As you all know... Texas was hit by a category four hurricane called “Harvey” … This is the largest hurricane to hit this area in a long time. Rockport, Corpus Christi, Houston and so many other areas are going to be dealing with a lot of damage and loss of life for a long time.  Anything we can do helps.

“Romani In Los Angeles” a not for profit website based in Los Angeles, the Holly Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church From Los Angeles and Napoca EuroCatering a Romanian food Catering company from Los Angeles teamed up with Sky Logistics a Transportation company also from Los Angeles who is donating their time, a driver salary and is giving one of their trucks to us to fill it up with supplies and send directly to those in need. Red Cross Houston Texas will receive the goods and distribute appropriately.

We need some volunteers to help us by donating their time a few hours a day.
We need two men 8 hours a day Between 10am and 7pm to sit there and receive the donations and load them in the truck. There will be two 4 hour shifts daily. Preferably, each volunteer will contribute two shifts of four hours. We'll be there for a week, so we need as many people as possible. There are so many people there who will not be able to help themselves and their loved ones. We know there are a lot of good Romanian people across California who will be willing to help.  

The truck will be at the Holly Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church parking lot at: 3315 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065 Beginning Sunday September 3rd at and will be there from 10 am to 7pm every day until we fill it up.

Please come, bring what you can: water bottles, paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, plastic ware, canned food, cleaning supplies, soap, clothes, Advil, Aleve, zip lock bags, towels, baby wipes, disinfectant, Lysol, Clorox wipes, Windex, tooth paste – brushes, pillows, blankets, kids toys, diapers, socks, trash bags, vinyl gloves, dog-cat food, etc or anything you can spare.

Please make sure anything you bring is new and unopen.
