A Fight For Change - In Memory of Romsen
Donation protected
On Friday, January 29th, 2021, tragedy struck when our beloved Romsen Badalpour was killed by a wrong-way driver on the off-ramp of I-17 & Greenway in Phoenix, AZ.
As our family processes and mourns the death of a son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend, we have to fight for the families of all victims of wrong-way drivers and do whatever we can to help stop this from continuing to happen.
While we cannot stop wrong-way drivers, the Arizona Department of Transportation has to do more when it comes to detecting wrong-way drivers on the freeways and acting with urgency as the rise in crashes in Arizona continue to increase year over year.
Whether it is due to the impairment of the wrong-way driver and calling for more severe punishment for DUIs, or the confusion from lack of signage at on and off-ramps, the threat in Arizona remains very real.
The donations will go directly towards all efforts in making the freeway ramps throughout our state safer, starting with Greenway and I-17.
We will dedicate the rest of our lives towards this effort to save as many lives as possible.
Thank you for your love and support during this extremely difficult time. Our family is appreciative of your thoughts and prayers.
