Romulus State

On Sunday the 22nd of September, the Foxearth Family sufferred an unexpected loss of a wonderful, kind, beautiful soul Constantine Romulus State.
Romulus joined the Foxearth Family alongside his beautiful wife and daughter in 2019 as well as working alongside other members of his extended family. Romulus mainly worked on our dementia unit Woodlands, but he would be seen wandering around helping wherever needed.
Those that had the priviledge to have ever met Romulus will know what I mean when I say, he was one of a kind. His smile brightened up any room, his love for his family was something you read about in books, he was the most extraordinary man one could know. A talented musician, sharing his music with our residents who loved him dearly, a funny joke every now and then, a passion to care and love others no matter who they were. Sunday was a day of shock, disbelief and pain. The family have sufferred a loss nobody should endure and as they navigate through this turmoil, we the Foxearth Family will firmly stand with them and support them in any way possible.
Foxearth, more specifically Woodlands will never be the same.
Rom, we miss your laugh, seeing you having your daily lunch break with your wife, getting on the piano to play music, having a dance, joining in all the activities, helping residents and staff, your memory will live on within our team, you are loved and missed and we will honour your memory each and every day.
In order to get Roms family and Rom home (his wish is to be buried at home in Romania) for his funeral we are asking for what ever anyone can spare to help us get them all home. It is very costly and to reduce the stress and distress the family are feeling, we would love to contribute to this in any small way we can.
We know times are tough at the moment we are not asking for a lot, what ever you can spare will go a long way to support the family through this awful time.
