Ron Copp aka Ronnie, "the clutch", "papa'

Tuesday evening, our beloved Ron unexpectedly but without suffering, was called to Heaven. There's so many that loved Ron and he was a truly genuine one-of-a-kind person that shared memories with so many and valued his family and friendships over anything in life as opposed to worrying about money or material things. His sincere, caring, and nurturing ways were always consistent throughout the 73 years of his life, nearly to a fault at times even, as he'd worry himself sick if things were out of his control, leaving him helpless when loved ones were going through tough times.

Ron was expecting to have a surger that involved fixing a heart valve scheduled just 6 days away from the day he passed, however, there was no thought or worry from his doctors nor anyone else that he would possibly not make it until then. Therefore, the cost for the memorial and all the other expenses associated with his shocking passing was never financially prepared for and Ron's biggest concern would be for Ronda, his wife of 38 years and his world, to have to stress over there financial burden of his death in addition to already being heartbroken by the unexpected event of his passing.

We collectively as a family decided to start a GoFundMe option to help her cover all the unplanned expenses that are associated with Ronnie's passing. We all know that Ronda is the exact same way Ron was (in many ways) in the fact that despite the offering of help and support that neither would ever actually reach out saying it would be helpful or to have to formally accept the offer first, out of their stubbornness. Therefore, this option allows for those who want to offer support to her and the family, without her needing to responding accepting it in this extremely tough time of the families lives. If you'd like to still offer your support in other options than monetary related ways(again, remember Ronnie was never into $$ & that he ALWAYS valued relationships, memories, acts of kindness, etc. before $$) you can send her love and support through FB, texts/calls to her or Ron's cells, or even after a week or two coming by the house. Ron would always want Ronda to continue relationships with all those he was close with and ensure relationships didn't end just because his physical existence did.

Thank you all so much for the huge amount of condolences, support and love that's already been given and continues, it's truly made a significant easing of the pain for everyone being able to reconfirm just how great of a human Ron really was with how many have reached out sharing memories and their own sadness of the news. Ron would be drinking a cold one while smiling and reading all the memories reminiscing.

We are currently planning all the details of his memorial service and will be sure to notify everyone of the date, time and place as soon as we make the official decisions but it will be sometime in September as we presume there's a lot of traveling going on with it being the last month of summer.
