Ron Ewing funeral expenses

Hi, my name is Jenn and I am fundraising to help take some of the financial burden from the Ewing family!

It started about 3 weeks ago when Ron fell ill, not thinking of it being anything too serious to now being diagnosed with Liver Disease and needing a liver transplant to survive. He first went to the ER where they run a CT and US and told him they didn't see anything, labs were normal but bilirubin was up, and sent him home. He never got better throughout the weekend so Jenn took him up to Sanford in SF on Monday to have CT and US again where they saw 2 spots on his liver, his labs were not normal, bilirubin was still on the rise and the new onset of ascites. They admitted him and drained his abdomen the next day and sent him home. Ron now has been back admitted to SF Sanford since last Thursday, they are waiting for biopsy results but now believe he has some internal bleeding from the biopsy incision due to his liver putting pressure on his esophagus. They are hoping to contact Mayo in the morning to set up a transplant team for him but as we know, there is a wait list for transplants. Ron is a husband, dad, grandpa and friend. Anyone that knows him knows he doesn't stay down very long but even he knows he's going to need alot of prayers and alot of strength to beat this! Jenn and the kids have been with him when they can.
