Ron Lamphier Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
47 years ago, Ronnie Lamphier joined my family as his father married my sister. Technically, I am his aunt but we were the same age and in the same grade at school. He was a goofy kid and he loved playing Risk and reading comic books.
But, unfortunately in 6th grade he became very sick with a kidney disease. Regulated by medication, he was highly active in baseball and wrestling. After high school he received his first kidney transplant. Things were looking good, he headed to community college, got married, had two adorable daughters, but his transplant was failing.
Working became difficult and his marriage dissolved but he remained a dedicated father, taking pride in coaching his daughters teams and cheering their successes.
He received a second transplant and it seemed that he had another chance at a full life. He remarried and gained another daughter. It seemed that things were going his way.
Unfortunately a diagnosis of cancer left him in a weaken state and the chemotherapy had damaged the transplanted kidney. He would need to go on dialysis again.
This led to a roller coaster of health battles over the last several years. Numerous ICU hospitalizations for infections and respiratory illnesses had left him in a precarious state.
This week, Ron was admitted for pneumonia. After years of battling, he no longer had the reserves to fight back. On October 14, surrounded by his loving family he passed away.
Due to his health battles, Ron wasn’t eligible to purchase life insurance. His family needs our support to help provide for his final expenses.
Please consider donating whatever amount you can to take some of the financial burden off his wife and daughters.
Thank you.
