Ron Peluzzo Air Ambulance Fund

Donation protected
While Ron was in his new home in Florida settling in for retirement with his wife Cathy, he suffered a major heart attack. He has undergone a double bypass along with multiple other surgeries and worked really hard to get where he is now.  However, in the midst of all the treatments and care in the hospital, somewhere along the way, he had strokes at the base of his brain and top of his spinal cord.  As a result, he has little to no movement from the neck down.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, neither Cathy, his five children, nor friends and family have been able to see him.  Cathy cannot be alone in Florida without a support system and neither can Ron.

For anyone who does not know Ron, he has a big personality. He’s the Italian guy that served 32 years in the U. S. Air Force and 35 years in the Philadelphia Police Department from which he just retired in February.  If you do know Ron, you’ve heard about his meatballs, his wife Cathy, his five kids and his granddaughter.

We would like to bring The Big Ragu back home to Philadelphia where he can be close to family and friends and receive the best care during his extensive rehabilitation. This would require an ICU-equipped air ambulance and is not covered by insurance.

The Peluzzo’s are asking for help to pay for the cost of the flight back to Philadelphia.  Any funds exceeding the transportation costs will be put towards other medical costs like deductibles, copays, rehab, and equipment.

We appreciate all your love,  support and prayers.
