Ron’s journey to healing!

Hi, my name is Penny and my uncle Ron (Butch) Sandlin received a cancer diagnosis this week after surgery to remove a lump from his neck that he noticed while shaving. He was discharged from the hospital today with an incision from his ear to the middle of his chin. Following surgery, his plan-of-action was organized and it will be implemented very soon. This plan will include 35 radiation treatments, a feeding tube to allow his throat to rest following targeted radiation and more than 8 weeks out of work. His radiation schedule will be Monday-Friday for seven weeks. At this point, we don’t even know what the out-of-pocket medical expenses will be, but being out of work for at least 8 weeks will be difficult, financially.

For those that do not know my uncle, he is the guy that will literally give you the shirt off his back. He never meets a stranger and if you’ve heard his laugh, you don’t forget it! He is usually the guy organizing something like this for everyone else and would never ask for help himself. That is why I’m reaching out on his behalf. We are believing for his complete healing and the testimony that he will tell the world, but until that day, he could use any relief financially to free him and his wife of that burden while healing. We know that God goes before him and he is secure in His hands! Times are tough and we are aware of that, so if you cannot give, please add my uncle to your prayers!!
