Ron Soderberg Final Expenses

It’s with great sadness that we write about Ron Soderberg’s sudden passing.
Ron was incredible man… full of wisdom and quite a few jokes (and some pretty freakin good ones I might add ) and stories of his time in Vietnam. He loved so deeply and he had an absolute heart of gold and welcomed everyone with open arms. He was loving husband, father and papa (watching this man with his grandchildren was one of my personal favorite things to see!). Like Kai says, He knew no such words of step kids, in laws, half because if you were in his life he was your family and he was ours (even all of us kids that came over to hang with the Soderberg/Ebaniz fam!). Ron was a man who loved his family and loved his food- I mean seriously, we would be having bbq/family dinners and we would all check in on him at different times to ask if he needed anything and he would strategically ask each of us to bring more food or bring him a beer .
I really can’t think of a bad thing to say about this guy. He was a “what you see is what you get” kind of man. The world is much dimmer without him.
I stole this post of of Kai Facebook page, it really does sum it all up:
“Boy Scouts, learning to drive on backroads with out a license or permit, Being His shadow cuz I was in trouble, Getting to fly a plane from creswell, Taking me to my first job interview. Always telling me “it is what it is, it’s not what it’s not, so don’t make what is when it’s not” Making me keep my word when I wanted to back out, making me go to work even if I didn’t want or need to. This man thought me so many things. I got my morals and my work ethic from this man. He showed me to always strive for better and most importantly he taught me what we should do He also taught me that no matter what family is family there is no halves steps or in-laws we are either family not not. I could never thank this old prick enough for all the things he has done for me and taught me. I hope to honor my dad with everything I do in life. I hope your up there having a margarita with mom Love you dad.”
Ron’s passing so suddenly has put the family in a very tight spot, financially. Especially with this being not even one year since their mother has passed away. Rachel quit her job to take care of him full time and Ron split the house costs with Keanna and Bobby. Anything you can donate with assist with final costs including funeral cost and final bills that need to be paid so it does not fall on the kids- which he ABSOLUTELY would have never want them to be burdened with these costs. I have known this family for going on 20 years. They would NEVER ask for anything if it absolutely wasn’t needed.
Ron was a man who took care of his family, now it is our turn to honor Ron by helping this family with love and if you can, a financial donation.
Thank you so much!
Rest In Paradise Ron, I’ll cheers to you everytime
