My friend, Brittney Herron lost her father to cancer. He fought a good fight but it was a battle he did not win.

In her words: This morning, April 6th, at 5:20 am, Ron Witt’s alarms here at home went off. Why he still insists on being up that early when he’s retired, who knows.

All I know is that today, he chose that time to wake up in Heaven instead.

I love you, Dad. Please give Mom the biggest hug for me, and I will see you both again.

Unfortunately, cremation costs are more than they were expecting. I am also sure there will be some other medical and unexpected financial costs that come with the loss of a loved one.
