For those of you who have been following Kahluah & her nips journey, unfortunately this week she came down with parvo as well as her nips. Parvo is a highly contagious and deadly virus to dogs especially young and old. At this time kahlua and her babies are at Tufts Emergency Hospital in Grafton. Unfortunately we have lost some of the little nips and kahlua has been touch and go. This has been a heart wrenching emotional roller coaster for all of us. At this time the remaining nips are stable and WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO COULD FOSTER 3 OF THE 5 REMAINING NIPS. THE FOSTER HOME MUST NOT HAVE ANY OTHER DOGS IN IT AND A RESTRICTED AREA IN THE HOME TO HOUSE THE PUPS. If you think you are a good candidate please call Ron on his personal cell. [phone redacted]. Please keep Kahlua and her nips in your prayers. Due to the severity of this virus, we are in quarantine until further notice. The remaining dogs at the shelter are all happy and healthy and will be able to continue their search for their furever homes as soon as our quarantine in lifted.
