Help Ron and Shelby get back home

Ron, here. The San Francisco Bay Area is financial quicksand. My partner and I came here from Maryland in 2016, eager to start a new, good life here in the Bay Area. All but 18 of those 54 months have been spent either sleeping in our car, "living" in motels, or (for the past year) living in our RV. The RV would've been the answer if not for a global pandemic. The shutdown killed me.

I haven't worked since the beginning of the pandemic. We need to get back to Maryland where we can afford to live. The RV absolutely won't make it back across the country without repairs. It's a 1989, so who knows what the extent of "repairs" that would be. We have a van that will need some essential repairs, as well, before embarking on a 3,000 mile journey. And, those two monster engines will drink lots and lots of gas in driving across. Both vehicles need to be properly registered and insured, as well. If we can hit our goal of $7,500, that should get us home.
