Ronans cerebral palsy support
Donation protected
Meet Ronan I am three I have QUADRIPLEGIC CEREBRAL PALSY, which means I need a lot of help. My absolute favourite thing in the world is peppa pig and BUSES i also love arsenal and singing with my family. I like playing with my friends and other children but I get really frustrated because I can’t always do everything everyone else is doing.
Ronan was born prematurely at 28 weeks weighing just 2lbs 5oz, with my twin brother Rocco weighing just 2lbs. Sadly at 5 weeks my Twin brother died from necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) then we were told Ronan had cysts on his Brain. However we soon had a bigger issue ronan developed Nec twice and was eventually transferred to london to receive life saving medical care. He had already endured so much and as a family we were broken but strong for Ronan. In total Ronan Spent 105 days in NICU receiving Special care. Then it was finally time to go home. This is where our real journey began. We waited months for appointments to be cancelled. We have had to move back to London so we can access better health care. Since returning to London, my appointments are finally coming through and my mum and nan are fighting each day to give me the best possible opportunities to be able to achieve my best abilities and gain some independence in my life. However, we live in a very overcrowded home. We like to go out each day, but we are very limited as I need better mode of transport which hopefully will come in the next few months. I can’t sit alone so I can only play for short periods of time because my seat and chairs don’t give me the right support. My mummy is doing everything in her power to supply stuff to help me, but it is so expensive in today’s climate. So we have decided to sell this go from me to help support my needs. I know that we are all struggling in the life right now with the cost of living so every penny counts and is really appreciated if you can’t donate please as it is just as important.
