Ronda K Hernandez (Wallace)

Hi, my name is Randal Strong-Wallace and I am raising funds to take care of the final expenses for my late Sister-in-Law Ronda, who we lost on September 13th. Ronda has had respiratory issues for many years and on the day she passed, the power went out and she didn't have back-up oxygen due to lack of funds from being disabled for several years and getting only enough Social Security Disability that she had to pick and choose what she could afford to have. Her husband Paul called 911 and by the time the ambulance arrived she had lost consciousness and they were unable to revive her at the hospital.

She and her devoted Husband Paul had moved to California to live the American Dream. He had completed culinary training and had been offered a position at a resort. They were driving up the Pacific Coast Highway, when they came over a steep hill and did not see a sea lion. The van they were in flipped, seriously injuring both Ronda and Paul. They were both hospitalized for some time and neither of them completely recovered from their accident. Paul has never been the same and has really struggled ever since with pain and has a difficult time sleeping and getting comfortable. Ronda struggled from time to time and then developed respiratory issues.

The funds are being used to cremate her remains. Because they live in a small rural town in Kansas, the cremation and a basic box will be $3,200, as they have to send her body away to the nearest facility for cremation. We are trying to raise $3,500 to cover this expense and pay for the fees charged by Go Fund Me. Any additional funds will pay for a slightly nicer urn and anything left over will go to her Husband Paul. Her youngest brother is covering the costs for her Church Service, but does not have the extra money to cover her cremation.
