Rongey Family Road to Recovery

My father, Chris Rongey, touched an incredible amount of lives around the globe. He was one of a kind. He was taken from us on 1/19/2019 when he was struck by an SUV who failed to yield the right-of-way trying to "beat" him. My dad was killed on Impact. My mom, Marsha Rongey, was also riding with him in the passenger seat. She is currently in the hospital in stable condition but with many broken bones and other severe medical injuries.

Anyone who knows my dad will know this: He left the world doing what made him feel free. Riding!

My dad leaves behind his wife, Marsha, my two sisters,  me, our family and an incredibly large group of friends, coworkers, and acquaintances who cherished him. 

Our family managed to put together enough funds to set up two flights for my sister Christal and Chris's sister (my Aunt) Becky. They will be flying out to be there for Marsha and to help with arrangements for my dad.

Marsha has a long road to recovery and will need continued support. This GoFundMe will assist us with any funds necessary to arrange for flights, medical expenses, time off of work, etc.

Any amount given will help us with making these things possible. 

Anyone who knows my dad will also know this: Don't shed a tear for him when he is gone, instead throw a party and celebrate his life.  We will be putting together a celebration party in his honor. We DNZ (Don't Know 'Zactly) when the party will be or have anything planned yet as support for Marsha is our number one priority.  Keep a lookout on Facebook for any information, or contact me directly.
