Ronkonkoma Animal Hoarding Dogs
Tax deductible
On April 2, 2024, North Fork Country Kids Animal Rescue (NFCK) was called to a home in Ronkonkoma, LI/NY for one of the worst hoarding cases on Long Island in recent history. Upon arrival to the home, police, Hazmat and SPCA members discovered 46 animals, mostly dogs, in small cages filled with feces, urine, hair and newspaper. Many of these dogs were missing hair, covered in fleas and mites, injured, and had never spent any time outside of the small crates they were housed inside of.
NFCK was able to pull 4 dogs (Pom Poo, Boxer, Terrier Poo, and French Bulldog) and one long haired cat. They were rushed to Mattituck Laurel Vet Clinic for immediate vetting and are to be placed in foster homes once released.
We rely on donations to help properly vet these animals and provide life saving care. We need your help.
We are a 100% volunteer 501c3 organization, so not only is your donation tax deductible, you can be sure that every penny goes directly to helping the animals. This is a big undertaking for our small rescue. We would like to pull more of the animals from the shelter to give them a chance to live outside a cage. The more help we can get, the more animals we can help save. Even $5 can help. Please consider a donation. You can also message me about item donations as well.
Thank you!
