On February 20th 2023
Ronnie Lees was seriously injured while skiing at Snowbird in the state Utah, with his daughter Emma and family. At over 10,000 feet high winds pushed fog over the mountaintop, forcing visibility to zero. Ronnie somehow crashed violently into an out of bounds area of snowbird. He received several severe, injuries to his lower body, including breaking both of his legs.
He was brought down the mountain and safely transferred to Intermountain Medically Center over 20 miles away. His condition is stable, but he’s experiencing lots of pain and will need months of physical therapy, just to walk again.
Ronnie Lees was in Utah filming the area resorts for upcoming online videos that are viewed in the millions worldwide.
We have been told that this will be expensive. He is stranded in Utah cannot travel with his current injuries. Anything that you can donate is greatly appreciated, Ronnie Lees and Northeast Surfing have donated so much to thousands of people a year.
