Ronnie Lucas’ Road to Recovery

On Thursday 9/21/23 Ronnie Lucas was out for a ride on his motorcycle and was hit by an oncoming SUV. During the initial contact, Ron’s left foot was amputated. Ron also sustained broken ribs, hand and additional spine injuries.

Ronnie is a small auto glass business owner (one man show). He has done charitable work, more importantly in secret, for those he has met in need. He’s more concerned about other peoples’ safety than he is about his own. Even after being thrown from his motorcycle, Ronnie was more worried about the driver of the other vehicle than he was about himself.

Ronnie has a very long road ahead of him. Many months of just simple recovery and even more to learn to adjust to life without his foot. At this time it appears as if it will be at least 6-8 months before he can consider the thought of working again.
