Roof collapses at Love of Christ Baptist Church

Update: As you know I am the sister of the Pastor and a faithful friend of Love of Christ Baptist Church. I would like to thank those who were able to donation to the Love of Christ Baptist Church  gofundme page.  I delivered the first installment from the account to Pastor Morgan on Friday. Work is in progress but continued prayers and help are needed. Thank you again for your prayers and donations. The Gofundme page will remain active through the month of July as other fund raisers are being held.


Love of Christ Baptist Church is asking for prayers and financial help as they begin to put the pieces back together after the roof of their church suddenly collapsed on the afternoon of June 8, 2019 causing extensive damage. Water damage was also reported after broken pipes began to flood the building. However, they feel very blessed that no one was in the building at the time of the collapse.

"We know that the Lord will provide. We just need to be prayerful...," Pastor Corwin Morgan said in a statement on Saturday.
