Room For Healing gifts room transformations to families impacted by cancer or severe chronic illness (for someone undergoing treatment, someone in remission, or for a family that lost a loved one). Interior designers and decorators volunteer their services to fully transform a room to create an oasis that promotes healing. Although there are generous vendors that donate the labor to paint and hang art and drapery, the money collected for this fund will go towards the furnishings to complete the transformation. In loving memory of my father-in-law and best friend, Aaron Benzion Halevi Goldsmith, a man of honor who lifted up everyone around him. Also in loving memory of my grandmother Fraida Shaindel, cousin Darren, best friend Olga, and my husband’s aunt Tia Miriam.
