The above trailer for TALES FROM DAPPLE CREEK won 43 awards through FilmFreeway. And now, we are about to embark on a new movie. It will be called ROOMS IN THE HOUSE.
This is a huge deal. Our story is packed with vibrant, enriching, and helpful realities. First, a tiny bit of backstory. We've created scads of works, this first brief clip is from an older work,
Two Tears in the Dirt: he cried in his own child grave.

We are a dance/movement arts company that's been creating and performing for decades. Applying for this grant is a huge step and the right thing to do.
We are tenacious. Not long ago, a bit of pruning during Covid helped to enliven new and reformed growth. While staying in touch with our past, we work to enrich the future and it's exciting! We made a multi-award winning movie.
And now, are about to produce another movie, market it to the masses, and get it distributed. We need your help to keep us moving forward.
Our goal is to reach a wider audience, so our focus is moving toward film. We are not abandoning live performance, but because people have been touched by our award winning first movie, Tales from Dapple Creek (TDC), we look forward to crating new film projects.
We are currently awaiting , and have already begun working toward creating our next movie, Rooms in the House (RITH).
we’re going to do the project anyhow. we’ll make our next movie anyhow. It must be made!
we will continue the project. Every cent gained will go toward producing, distributing, and marketing the film. Because we need your help more than ever.
We have already begun scheduling for RITH. Auditions for this new project will be next spring and rehearsals will begin soon after that. It's more than a year-long process that we are excited about.
- Dance is intrinsic to knowing and understanding the world through inner processes--sensing, feeling, thought, and intuition.
George's Nudge is one of the tales housed in Tales from Dapple Creek.
- Our primary goals are to communicate and connect through movement. Without these actions there is no kinetic echo, no understanding, no empathy, no questioning, and no response.

WITH THESE FUNDS WE WILL CREATE A SECOND MOVIE, GET IT OUT TO DIVERSE LOCATIONS, AND ADVOCATE FOR THE ART OF DANCE.
