Roosevelt HS Cheer Team!

Greetings,

My name is Briana and I am the assistant cheer coach at Roosevelt High School in North Portland, OR. My colleague, former cheermate and head varisty coach Rakiyah Perry and I are both Roosevelt Alumni and former cheerleaders ourselves who have returned to lead the cheer team and bring the spirit back to Roosevelt! Going into my second and Rakiyah's fifth year coaching such a wonderful group of young adults, we have big plans for our rapidly growing team, going from 12 athletes to 30 athletes in just one year! Our first step in advancement starts with taking our team to cheer camp this July!

Our team has also expressed great interest in expanding our cheer team this year and in the years to come! We plan to expand our program through attending more cheer camps/clinics, seeking additionial fundraising opportunities, creating merchandise to distribute, hosting events for the community, doing volunteer work, participating in parades, and competing in competitions.

All funds raised will help cover the cost of camp, uniforms, and other expenses for our team! We thank you all in advance and appreciate your continued support to RHS and our cheer team! Hope to see you all in the stands this year cheering with us! :)
