Roosevelt Youth Basketball 2017

We are Roosevelt Rising Stars Youth Basketball program, Located in Roosevelt NY, 55 Mansfield Ave. 11575. We are looking for sponsors to support our program and help us continue to increase participation and quality of our program for the deserving children of Roosevelt and its surrounding communities. Your contributions are tax-deductible under the laws of the IRS 501c3 non-profit status of Roosevelt Rising Stars.



The 2017 Basketball season is underway. We have three teams this year, ages 11-12u, and 13-14u and 15-16u. We have 3 out of state tournaments scheduled and several in-state leagues we have registered to participate in. The cost per child for the season, (tournaments, registration fees, hotel accommodations, food, travel and new uniforms) is roughly $900, with new opportunities arising weekly. It is a burden for some of our parents, therefore we are asking for help to assure all our kids can participate and have a successful season.

It is our goal to provide the players in our program with best training which would allow them to compete on the highest levels. For some, our basketball program provides them a place to feel safe, a sense of family, love and support.
