Rory Green

As many of you know, we have recently lost our beloved friend, Rory Green. In honor of Rory's memory and to support his family during this difficult time, we have created this GoFundMe fundraiser. All donations raised will go directly to Rory's family to help cover any immediate expenses and provide them with the support they need during this grieving process. Rory's sudden departure has left a void in everyone’s hearts, but together, we can come together to provide some relief and comfort to those he held closest to his heart.

Whether you knew Rory since childhood, or only just met him, you would know about his infectious laughter, captivating stories, and unmatched energy. He was the epitome of sociability, touching the lives of countless individuals with his warmth and compassion, bringing everyone together with a genuine kindness. Above all, though, Rory had an unwavering love for his family. He was a devoted father, husband, brother, and son, and is missed immensely by his loved ones.

From a young age Rory had a special connection with Georgian Bay, finding solace and joy in its beauty throughout the year. His love for the Bay was infectious, and he shared this passion with those around him, especially his family. He enjoyed disc golf on the outer islands, fishing, sharing stories around a campfire, exploring with his dogs – all in the company of others. In his hometown, the Green house was always been a hub of Midland life, where everyone was always welcome, for an hour, an evening, or sometimes a year or two. He was a well-respected and trusted member of every community he was a part of – golfing, baseball, art and design, music, and in his work in creative digital marketing.
