Rory’s Sons Fund

Our dear friend, cousin, brother, son, husband, and most importantly, father,  Rory Burrows, 47, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

Rory leaves behind his beloved sons, Rory, 11, and Kevin, 8. We have created this fund for Rory’s sons to make sure his boys are provided every opportunity to overcome the financial burdens of losing their Dad.

A child losing a parent in and of itself is incredibly heartbreaking. Their loss is one not only felt emotionally,  but one that creates a new set of worries, challenges, and obstacles to overcome.

While we cannot ever refill the emptiness, sadness, and overwhelming heartbreak that comes with losing a parent, we can try to alleviate some of the load for Rory and Kevin, whose worlds have been upended by their loss.

As many of you know their Dad, Rory, was an outstanding athlete, playing football and baseball at Whitman-Hanson High School, so lets all rally to make sure that these boys have all the jerseys, sneakers, hats, equipment, and sports camp money, to ensure that these boys can take after their Dad.

Let’s continue to rally with funds to support these boys' education: books, school supplies, back to schools clothes, and additive college funds. 

We all know Rory’s legacy will continue to shine through his sons, but let’s make Rory and Kevin's future shine a little brighter with our support. We know nothing meant more to Rory than his sons, and let’s let him rest a little easier knowing we did our part.
