Rosa & Francisco Garza

The lives of Rosa and Francisco Garza were tragically lost on Sunday, December 1st around 4 am. They were on their way to the SF Airport to travel to Cancun, Mexico on a much-anticipated and very-deserved vacation. Francisco was driving, his mother, Rosa, was in the back seat, and his sister, Angelica, was in the front passenger seat. Francisco was driving carefully since it had been raining and the roads were wet. Meanwhile, Esteban Aguilar Jimenez was driving intoxicated and recklessly at high speeds of over 100 mph with 3 others in his car also under the influence.  Their car was struck by Jimenez. The impact was so massive that their car hit the side rail and then rolled over a few times. Rosa was pronounced dead at the scene. Francisco died an hour later at the hospital. Angelica suffered minor injuries. In an instant, the Garza's lost 2 members of their family. Jimenez and his passengers walked away with bruises. Anyone who knows this family knows how compassionate, good-hearted, kind, and helpful they are with amazing ethical morals. They loved Christmas so much that they started celebrating in October! Now, instead of spending the holiday celebrating, they will be spending it planning funerals and memorials, talking to insurance companies, making appointments with lawyers, seeking justice, but most importantly and most painfully mourning.
