Rosa Cruz- Memorial Head Stone
Donation protected
On January 22nd, Rosa Cruz was walking home when an unknown driver fatally struck her at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the 15500 block of Lillja Road and Kaylyn Street. The driver did not stop to give aid, and she was found unresponsive when paramedics arrived.
We are all understandably shocked, devastated and overwhelmed by our sudden loss.
Although it is tough to write, I am creating this page to raise money for Rosa's funeral expenses and help aid her family during these challenging times.
For those who knew Rosa, you knew that she was an extremely hard worker. Being the eldest of five, she found responsibility at a young age. She worked as many jobs as possible to ensure her family was well taken care of. It didn't matter how tired she was; as long as she provided for her family, she was happy.
She was an inspiring mechanic and worked hard to earn her place. Her current vehicle was in need of repairs, and she was saving her money to purchase parts. Her stubborn, independent nature meant she would rather walk from place to place than depend on others. Her ability to be independent is what made people admire her.
Rosa was much more than she led people to believe. She was a caretaker, mechanic, musician, poet,
and loving friend to many, often misunderstood.
Your donations will be greatly appreciated and will not only help with funerals expenses but the time her family needs to grieve for their daughter and our friend. If you cannot donate at this time, please take a second and share this with your friends and family.
Below you can access Rosa's blog. Perhaps her words will give you just a glimpse of what her life was.
