This GoFundMe page has been made to help with funeral arrangements to help our family in Savaii, Samoa plan a beautiful funeral for Rosa’s last day on God’s land.

Rosa Lino Wideski was a loving, caring and and beautiful person who touched many people’s lives with her kindness, compassion and strength.

Rosa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. After her diagnosis, she and our younger sister Viki went back to Samoa to get the medical treatment she needed.

However, after her surgery in Samoa, it wasn’t long after that the doctors in Canada found out that she had metastatic breast cancer. Meaning that the cancer had spread beyond part of the body from where it originated.

Ever since that day, Rosa fought everyday, religiously went to all of her chemotherapy and radiation appointments on top of supporting her children in Canada, as well as her sons and family in Samoa.

For those that knew Rosa, they knew the strength she had within her, the joy and laughter she always carried around. But most of all, they knew that Rosa would never mention anything about her health. Even when asked she would always saying, “Yeah, I’m okay, I’m good. Don’t worry about me.”

Rosa passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 surrounded by family, prayers and song.

She took her last breath just past 3 am and we all believe that her mom, Iva Fepuleai, came and showed her the way to her new home as Iva passed away in the same home on the same hour.

Our family is reaching out to anyone who knew her and who wants to contribute for Rosas last day.

We want to thank everyone who has been a part of her life and has helped create the most amazing memories for her and with her.
