Rosa Luxemburg and feeding a translator

Hi, my name is Paul Le Blanc, and I would like your help in feeding a translator named Lynne.

Our target is the first of May and our purpose is the celebration of Rosa Luxemburg.

Doing this will enable Lynne to make available in English the wonderfully insightful and lucid essays by my dear friend Michael Löwy, contained in his book Rosa Luxemburg, L'étincelle incendiaire.

The amazing "Red Rosa" was truly one of the most luminous of revolutionaries, and she has much to teach us as we wrestle with the crises of our own time. Michael's eloquent and information-packed essays can help nourish insurgent movements for freedom and human dignity. I hope you will join with me in helping make these splendid essays available to activists and scholars of today and tomorrow.

I am asking family and friends -- as a combined Christmas and birthday gift -- to contribute to this collective effort, with some kicking in $20, others $200, and all deeply valued. The target-period for translation is the summer of 2022. Once the essays are translated, a major left-wing publisher is poised to bring this new book into being.
