Roscoe Village Mural
Donation protected
Thanks for stopping by. We set up this page to fund a mural for a prominent exterior wall of our home. We engaged Ouizi, a talented midwestern muralist, to paint the mural and this page is intended to help subsidize the cost and ensure the mural's protection. In addition to our mural, she has completed several eye-catching flower murals throughout the city, including the large mural at 3637 N. Southport Ave. All funds donated will go towards protecting the mural with UV protection coating, and additional sacrificial coating to help with graffiti protection.
Built in 1911, the property was originally home to a butcher shop and grocery with an upstairs apartment. Unfortunately, the building has seen tagging and graffiti over the years and the main exterior wall is now covered with layers of paint. Located on a busy street in Roscoe Village, we want to be a good neighbor by providing a unique mural that sparks interest and joy for the entire neighborhood.
Please help us support public art and celebrate Roscoe Village, the village within the City.
