Rose Barber College Fund

Hi I’m Pat Gill. We lost our brother in blues Russell Barber last month to a very private battle with cancer. He left us much too early at the age of 53. He leaves behind his incredible wife Adrienne and very talented 15 year old daughter Rose. Russell has been an integral part of the blues family in the South Bay Area for many years as a very accomplished and talented vocalist, guitarist and front man. This is in addition to a very successful day job in marketing. I have been very lucky to be among those to back him on bass for the past dozen years or so. He taught me so very much about music and had a personality that made him liked and loved by all. He never had a bad thing to say about others. Rosie, as he liked to call his daughter, is a very bright and talented high schooler who has extraordinary drawing skills. She does quite well in school and is surely college bound. I’m creating this fund to give a financial boost toward her college career. Please show some love for Russell and his family and contribute generously.
