Rose Borum's Medical Fund

This Go Fund Me page was started to help our friend Rose Borum with the medical expenses she will have when she receives a much-needed liver transplant. Rose was diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis also known as Fatty Liver Disease. Her liver had some lesions that the doctors have been watching for a while. Then one of them started to grow and she had a biopsy done. It was Stage 2 Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) and her doctor decided she needed a transplant.

I have known Rose for over 33 years, and she has become part of my family. She is one of the kindest, most caring people you will ever meet. She would literally give you the shirt off her back. But you don’t have to take my word for it. This is what others say about her:

Here is Rose’s point of view- “The word CANCER has even the biggest, strongest man or woman quaking in his or her boots. There is the fear of the unknown and what will become of you. I maintained a healthy lifestyle before I was diagnosed. I didn’t get my Cirrhosis from drinking or drugs. It was so puzzling. I was approved for the Liver Transplant List in December 2022. After the transplant I will be on anti-rejection medication for the rest of my life. I just want to return to my normal everyday life.”
