I am running for a seat on the Healdsburg Unified School District Board of Trustees.
Our three children, ages nine, seven, and four-- along with all the other children in our community-- inspired me to seek this position. None of the current Board members, or other candidates, have young children. From this vantage point, and utilizing the relationships and knowledge that I have through volunteering and serving on the Healdsburg Charter School Governing Council, I will advocate for excellence and equity in everything I do.
Election Day is November 6, 2018, though many of us vote by mail, increasing the urgency to share my name, viewpoint , and goals. I plan to post yard signs, provide car window clings, and print door hangers, which I will distribute by walking the neighborhoods introducing myself and asking for votes.
