Rose Officer Education Fund

Wayne Stewart is organising this fundraising appeal on behalf of Rose Officer.

Hi All, most of you will know David (Dinta) and Kate Officer either personally or by reputation.

They have been pillars of our rally community in Australia and overseas for over 40 years as competitors and officials. They are still competing and some of their past results include Victorian Rally Champions in 1983, Australian Rally Champions in 1984, top 5 in World Rally Championship events in 1987 and 1988, and winners of the Australasian (Wynns) Safari in 1989 and 1991.

Over the years, Dinta and Kate have worked, and continue to work, tirelessly to support the rally community in their roles as rally officials and more recently with RallySafe.

In June this year Zoe Officer, daughter of Dinta and Kate and mother of Rose, tragically died. Rose now lives with her Grandparents, Dinta and Kate. Following their retirement Dinta and Kate are concerned that their financial position will not allow them to provide the best possible life and education for Rose.

With all the challenges thrown at us over the past few years it is the community spirit and support for each other that has got us all through. Let’s come together now for Rose and do what we can to help her.
