Rose Phelps Funeral
Donation protected
Rosemary, (to some of us, Rose, and to others, Tulip) has lived a long life, not in years but in experiences. Over the course of her lifetime she had fought a battle for health and life, yet had never complained about it. She was always "fantastic". She always knew that God was with her, and her faith never let that thought flee. However, this past Monday, May 31 2021 she lost her battle and passed away peacefully. Rose was with her loving husband, Wade, of 21 years, and she decided that this was her moment of glory; to walk through the gates of Eternity and to walk hand in hand with her Heavenly Father. "He makes the rose an object of His care", those words have never rang louder or more true.
In these moments of extreme grief she leaves behind her loving husband who now faces the difficulties of life alone. They have always given in love, served in the name of Christ, sacrificed for others, and never let others know the deep level of concern for their day to day survival. Just through the years of their marriage she was hospitalized 213 times. Please read that again - 213 hospital stays. The emotional burden alone could break someone.... not to mention the financial one.
Some of us, their close friends, want to help Wade with the burdens he now faces. We are respectful of his privacy - but as you can well imagine, especially those of us that have known Wade and Rose for a long time - he will need much help laying his wife to rest.
Please find it in your heart to give; every little bit helps, and let us join together and take just one burden off of his shoulders.
