Rose White’s brain surgery
Donation protected
My mother, LaLura White, was diagnosed with a bleeding brain tumor and needed emergency surgery. Unfortunately my mother's insurance lapsed and she was 8 days from her insurance effective date. In order for her to be transfered from a community hospital (where she was in the ER) to the tumor center at Columbia Presbyterian, where she could get the best care, we had to committ to paying out of pocket for my mother to receive the necessary life saving surgery she needed. Committing this amount of money has completely drained my savings but I would sell my blood if I had to in order to get my mother the best care she needed. My mother has dedicated her life to helping others, saving lives, being there for her children and siblings and due to an 8 day lag in her health insurance, she wasnt able to get the care she needed or deserved. I am asking to anyone who knows her to please contribute what you can so that we may recoup some of these costs. I would be more than appreciative of any help you could give.
