Roseland Village Si Se Puede Mural

Hi, my name is Maya and I'm a senior at a local Santa Rosa High School. For my senior project I am planning to paint a 18x50 foot mural on a wall in Roseland Village. The intention behind painting this mural is to create public art that will empower, uplift, and bring happiness to the people who live and work in Roseland, CA.

The money raised in this fundraiser will be put towards the purchase of supplies and paint, the rental of scaffolding, and liability insurance. Please consider funding my project and contributing towards bringing art to the Roseland community. Even a small amount will help me reach my goal.

UPDATE: I have been blessed by so many generous donations already. Many supporters have reached out with the idea that I raise my goal amount, so that in addition to fundraising for scaffolding, paint supplies, and insurance for my mural, which comes to about $1000, I create a platform to raise funds to donate to local organizations that support the Latinx population in our county. In response, I have expanded my project and raised the goal amount to create a place where, as a community, we can come together to contribute resources to local organizations that support Latino community members.
