Rosemary Haskell Memorial Scholarship Fund

Rosemary Haskell, aka Mama Rose, Rose, Nurse Rose, Rosie, Rosebud left us on May 23, 2023. We are creating this scholarship fund to keep her memory and spirit of caring for others alive. Rose was proud of the 38 years she devoted to Blue Hill Memorial Hospital and a few more to Island Nursing Home. She cared deeply for the profession of nursing, access to healthcare and especially helping new parents and babies. She loved her community and loved seeing people grow their careers.  Scholarships will be awarded to students of any age pursuing the field of nursing. Award amount will be a minimum of $500 *the number and amount of awards will be based on contributions. Long Live Mama Rose
