My name is Adrian, I'm the owner and florist of Hermano Flower Shop in Palm Springs. As some of you may know, I've started a new journey: Rosemary HiFi, a beer & wine HiFi listening lounge in Downtown Indio. If you're unfamiliar with the concept, it's basically just a very high-quality music listening experience - something that's been a passion of mine for years. This is about 5+ years in the making; after being in several bands, making music of my own, and shortly pursuing a professional career in the audio/visual world, this feels like the natural progression of my career. The concept of a listening lounge originates in Japan, called Jazz Kissa. These are places where audiophiles and music lovers could go to appreciate their favorite artists on extremely high-quality speaker systems. With only a few true HiFi lounges in the states, Rosemary HiFi would be a gem in our Valley.

I'm a deeply passionate person, especially when it comes to music and art. Hermano started (just like Rosemary HiFi) as a passion project. From the support of the EDD money everyone got during the pandemic, Hermano was born. I fell in love with the community I was able to build around Hermano, you guys allowed me to experience the creative freedom that comes with owning a business, and for that, I'm forever grateful!

Now, I'm vulnerably asking for help from my community. The buildout cost is double what we budgeted and of course there has been some surprises! I started this GoFundMe to help bring my vision of Rosemary to life. I need all the help I can get and every contribution will make a significant impact. Your support means the world to me, and together, we can make Rosemary HiFi a reality. Thank you for being part of this journey!

The money raised will go to things like:

Building Upgrades - We have to jackhammer the parking lot asphalt to tie our plumbing into the main and the Indio Water Authority is making us upgrade the water meter because we are going from 1 toilet to 2 and a urinal and going from 1 sink to 5+. This alone will cost around $20,000!
Finishing Materials - Since the build out cost is double than we budgeted for, we will still be short on the custom woodworking we will need for our back bar, tile for bathrooms and the paint job!
Restaurant Equipment and more - We will need these funds for our refrigerators, multiple sinks, kegerator and toilets
Fixtures, Furnishings and Decor - This money will help buy all the lighting fixtures, tables and chairs.
Staffing - Rosemary is about creating community through music and we want to find the music lovers of the desert with the same passion for the arts as we do. We want to be able to take care of you, paying livable wages.
Day-to-Day Operations - Glassware, cleaning supplies, administrative supplies, etc... Honestly, all these miscellaneous costs add up and with help we can make sure our staff as well as our guests are completely taken care of.
