A note from Rosemary.
"This offering of love in the form of this Go Fund Me has been quite overwhelming for me. I say this now prior to knowing the outcome. Through prayer and surrender to the will of my Father, here am I.
I have been seen by two different pulmonologists and most recently by my primary care doctor, and it is collectively their opinion and recommendation that I be seen by a team of doctors at the Mayo Clinic. As I have prayed and sought His will for me, He has confirmed He is leading me in this.
Through my orientation call with Mayo, discussion of test ordered, time expected to be there, and every financial line that has been covered with me, this trip will be completely out of pocket, not covered by my insurance.
I have seen God provide for me in so many ways, many of which have been private. I prefer that, but this is His way this time.
My lungs are at 45% capacity which makes daily life hard. I experience daily light-headedness, extreme weakness and chronic coughing and coughing up that is present throughout the day. This is my body's attempt to grasp for air. In my daily exhaustion, I have been faithfully met by God's inexhaustible grace, sufficient for the day, which has sustained me. All to Him, I owe.
My recent CT Scan showed abnormalities in my lungs that have progressed over time and there is now considerable lung damage. Mayo is the next step for me.
I'm completely humbled how God has led me thus far, that everything I have been through, has been an opportunity to know Him more intimately, in a way I would have not known Him otherwise. For that I'm eternally grateful. I love Him deeply and trust Him fully.
